SHANGHAI, Feb. 20 (SMM) - China’s copper ore imports from the Port of Fangcheng increased 1.4-fold year-on-year to 207,000 tonnes in January, which are worth 1.96 billion yuan.
141,000 tonnes of these copper ore imports were made under general trade, up 78.9% year-on-year and accounting for 68.1% of the total from the port. Shipments were mainly from Peru, Chile and Mexico.
