NDRC: China Nonferrous Metals Prices Fall in January

The National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC) reported Wednesday China’s nonferrous metals price index was 80.96 in January, down 0.59 on the month but up 20 year-on-year, wenhua.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 15 (SMM) -The National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC) reported Wednesday China’s nonferrous metals price index was 80.96 in January, down 0.59 on the month but up 20 year-on-year, wenhua.com reported.

The index for copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, tin and nickel was 77.42,77.47,111.20,111.27,109.46 and 59.12, respectively. The index for copper, zinc and tin rose 0.91, 1.64 and 2.03, respectively, on the month, while that for aluminum, lead and nickel was down 0.81, 7.44 and 4.84.
