Chinese Aluminum Scrap prices rise on Index on 13th February, 2017

The Chinese Aluminum scrap prices increased marginally on the Scrap Monster Price Index on February 13th, Monday.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Aluminum scrap prices increased marginally on the Scrap Monster Price Index on February 13th, Monday.

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices were up by CNY 100 per MT each. E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 200 per MT to touch CNY 13,800 per MT. Old Cast prices increased by CNY 200 per MT. The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 200 per MT each. UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices too were up by CNY 200 per MT each.

Meanwhile, Brass Radiator prices witnessed significant increase of CNY 350 per MT when matched with the day before. Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up sharply by CNY 350 per MT each.

Stainless steel scrap prices too were up on the Index.

201 SS prices witnessed rise of CNY 200 per MT to touch CNY 4,600 per MT.

The prices of 304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning were up by CNY 200 per MT each.

309 SS prices jumped higher by CNY 300 per MT.

310 SS prices were up by CNY 400 per MT at CNY 16,950 per MT on February 13th, 2017.

316 SS Solid and Shred SS prices increased by CNY 300 per MT and CNY 200 per MT respectively.
