SHANGHAI, Feb. 10 (SM) - Macquarie expects the strike at the Escondida copper mine to last for two weeks, a same period with the last strike in 2011, according to wenhua.com.

Workers at BHP Billiton’s Escondida copper mine are now on a strike.

The strike will affect 56,000 tonnes of copper output at the Escondida copper mine.
