






SHANGHAI, Feb. 9 (SMM) - Chamber of Mines Vice-Chairman Simon Tuma-Waku said the Democratic Republic of Congo may produce 1.50 million tonnes of copper in 2018, 1 million tonnes higher than 2016’s, according to ccmn.cn.
Restart at Glencore’s Katanga project which was suspended in September 2015 will be a big contribution to the country’s copper production.
