Kazzinc’s zinc production was 305,500 tonnes in 2016, up 0.3% from 2015, sina.com reported. Its zinc output produced by self-owned raw material was 187,600 tonnes, down 3% year-on-year.
SHANGHAI, Feb. 6 (SMM) - Kazzinc’s zinc production was 305,500 tonnes in 2016, up 0.3% from 2015, sina.com reported. Its zinc output produced by self-owned raw material was 187,600 tonnes, down 3% year-on-year.
Its copper output was 68,200 tonnes in 2016, a rise of 9.6%. Output produced with its own raw materials was 53,900 tonnes, up 3.9% year-on-year.
The company is one of the largest nonferrous metals smelters in Kazakhstan.
