SHFE Tin Prices down 1.03% (2017-1-23)

SHFE 1705 tin started at RMB 145,600/mt and finally closed at RMB 144,820/mt, down RMB 1,510/mt or 1.03%.
SHANGHAI, Jan. 23 (SMM) – SHFE 1705 tin increased slightly on last Friday’s night trading, up to as high as RMB 146,210/mt, and closed at RMB 145,870/mt.
On Monday, SHFE 1705 tin started at RMB 145,600/mt and then fluctuated narrowly. The contract finally closed at RMB 144,820/mt, down RMB 1,510/mt or 1.03%. Trading volumes dropped 598 to 17,298 lots and positions fell 284 to 13,222.
SHFE 1705 tin will remain range-bound trading in a short term.
