SHANGHAI, Jan. 16 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to get support from a low dollar, Shanghai Metals Market predicts.
“The dollar now fluctuates at lows, and this will support base metal prices, but with possible declines technically,” SMM says.

Copper: 47,700-48,200 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 13,350-13,550 yuan per tonne
Lead: 18,750-19,150 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 22,700-23,100 yuan per tonne
Tin: 148,500-151,500 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 86,200-88,400 yuan per tonne
