China Zinc Concentrate TCs Fall, SMM Reports

TCs of domestic zinc concentrate (50%) were traded at 3,600-4,000 yuan per tonne (zinc content) this past week, according to SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 6 (SMM) - TCs of domestic zinc concentrate (50%) were traded at 3,600-4,000 yuan per tonne (zinc content) this past week, according to SMM data.

TCs for imported zinc concentrate (50%) were quoted at $35-40 per dry metric tonne (DMT), with fewer quotes above $40 per dry metric tonne (DMT).

Zinc smelters supported TCs due to lower profit, which was eaten by lower zinc prices, SMM said.
