SHFE Lead Prices Up 0.11% (2017-1-4)

SHFE 1702 lead started at RMB 17,475/mt and finally closed at RMB 17,715/mt, up RMB 20/mt or 0.11%.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 4 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE 1702 lead started at RMB 17,475/mt and then dropped to RMB 17,280/mt. The contract later rallied to RMB 17,560/mt and finally closed at RMB 17,715/mt, up RMB 20/mt or 0.11%. Trading volumes increased 39,244 to 86,380 lots and positions rose 454 to 40,278. Base metals performed mixed on Wednesday.

SHFE 1702 lead will keep fluctuating in a short term.

The power rationing in Yunnan, Henan, and Hunan since July-August and the power rationing in Jiangxi and Guangxi in September are undoubtedly the current hot spots.
