The average operating rate at Chinese electric wire & cable producers will be 71.79% in January, SMM predicts based on a survey.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 3 (SMM) - The average operating rate at Chinese electric wire & cable producers will be 71.79% in January, SMM predicts based on a survey.

Orders will fall across large, medium and small producers during the 2017 Chinese New Year holiday. Besides, migrant workers in some regions, such as Guangdong, will take a holiday from mid-January, precipitating a drop in operating rates at plants.
