LME Market to Open Low before Rising, SMM Says

LME market will resume trading from Christmas holiday on Wednesday, and with light trading calendar day. 

SHANGHAI, Dec. 28 (SMM) – LME market will resume trading from Christmas holiday on Wednesday, and with light trading calendar day. 

“Base metal prices on the LME are expected to open lower and then rise,” SMM predicts. 

Key Macroeconomic Indicators for Base Metal Prices (2016-12-28)

Copper: 45,150-46,340 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 12,850-13,050 yuan per tonne
Lead: 17,600-18,300 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 21,000-21,400 yuan per tonne
Tin: 144,000-146,000 yuan per tonne 
Nickel: 86,000-88,500 yuan per tonne
