BRAZILIA (Scrap Register): Brazil crude steel production fell by nearly 5 percent year-on-year to 2.43 million metric tons during the month of November this year, as compared to 2.55 million metric tons a year early, as per the latest figures from the from Aco Brasil.

The November crude steel production figures which represents a drop of 10.7 percent from the 2.72 million metric tons produced in October this year.

Brazilian crude steel production dropped by 8.8 percent to 28.1 million during January to November this year, as compared to 30.8 million metric tons in the same period in 2015.

According to Inda, distributors association, Brazil flat steel products sales fell by 2.3% year-on-year to 248,800 metric tons during the month of November and down 2.9 percent month-on-month.
