SHANGHAI, Dec. 19 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to swing widely this week, Shanghai Metals Market predicts.
“Foreign traders are expected to gradually exit the market with the nearing Christmas holiday, and so market focus will be on China, which just concluded its central economic work conference,” SMM says.

Copper: 46,000-46,500 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 12,500-12,960 yuan per tonne
Lead: 19,000-19,500 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 22,300-22,800 yuan per tonne
Tin: 148,000-150,000 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 93,800-95,600 yuan per tonne
