The Chinese copper scrap prices witnessed sharp downfall on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Wednesday, December 14th.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices witnessed sharp downfall on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Wednesday, December 14th.

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 400 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too tumbled by CNY 400 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery was down CNY 200 per MT to CNY 28,500 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery fell CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 24,050 per MT.

Copper Transformer scrap prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of Cu Yokes too has declined by CNY 100 per MT.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices witnessed decline of CNY 100 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices declined marginally by CNY 100 per MT.

Heater Cores were down by CNY 200 per MT on Wednesday, December 14th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged over the previous day.

[SMM Aluminum Alloy Daily Review] After opening higher today, aluminum alloy 2604 fluctuated upward and briefly surged to 24,125 yuan before pulling back somewhat, then maintained a narrow consolidation in the afternoon.
