SHANGHAI, Dec. 13 (SMM) - The recycling of zinc-contained resources is the best in the US at present, SMM reported at the 2016 China Cast Industry Summit.

US secondary zinc output claims over 50% of domestic total zinc production.

Global zinc reserves fall short of 30 years of exploration at current mining rate. Global production of zinc, zinc oxide and zinc salt is about 4 million tonnes each year from zinc-contained renewable resources.
