Operating rate at Chinese copper wire rod producers is expected to fall to 72.52% in December, SMM predicts based on the latest survey.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 12 (SMM) - Operating rate at Chinese copper wire rod producers is expected to fall to 72.52% in December, SMM predicts based on the latest survey.

The low-demand month for wire & cable, year-end payment collection, previous production and stock replenishment by end-users and operation suspension in North China during the winter season are all attributable to the decline in operating rate.
