SHANGHAI, Dec. 8 (SMM) - Peru’s government reported Tuesday the country’s production of copper, silver and molybdenum increased year-on-year in October, while zinc, gold, lead and tin output slid, wenhua. com reported.
Peru’s copper output leapt 37.7% year-on-year to 218,685 tonnes, compared to 158,855 tonnes in the same period of last year, due mainly to Freeport-McMoRan’s Cerro Verde mine, Chalco’s Toromocho mine and Hudbay Minerals’ Constancia mine.
