SHANGHAI, Dec. 1 (SMM) – SHFE 1702 zinc rose to RMB 23,000/mt after opening and reached RMB 23,230/mt as China’s November official manufacturing PMI hit a 2-year high. In the afternoon, SHFE 1701 zinc fell and closed at RMB 22,940/mt, down RMB 135/mt or 0.59%. Trading volumes increased 7,690 lots to 449,000 lots, and positions added 14,510 to 191,000. SHFE 1701 zinc is expected to fluctuate widely in the evening session.
