China’s Second Round of Environmental Protection Inspections Arrives at 7 Provinces

SHANGHAI, Dec. 1 (SMM) – China’s environmental protection inspection started again in 7 provinces, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hubei, Guangdong, Chongqing, Shaanxi and Gansu on November 30, reported by China Environment News.

The inspection will continue for one month.

Central government emphasized that environmental protection inspection is an important progress of ecological civilization construction and environmental protection programme. Inspection teams should focus on major environmental problems, which were highly-focused by central government, hot-debated by residents and bad-affected in society. The teams should also inspect local government’s actions on environmental protection programme.
