Ferrous metals prices and nonferrous metals rose across the board today.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 28 (SMM) – Ferrous metals prices and nonferrous metals rose across the board today.

SHFE 1701 zinc dipped to RMB 24,410/mt after opening, and then hovered around RMB 24,350/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1701 zinc rose by daily limit and hit RMB 24,410/mt, closed at RMB 24,410/mt, up RMB 1,595/mt or 6.99%. Trading volumes decreased 70,154 lots to 516,000 lots, and positions decreased 12,826 to 215,000. SHFE 1701 zinc is expected to consolidate at highs in the evening session.
