SHANGHAI, Nov. 28 (SMM) - Output of China’s 10 nonferrous metals increased 3.2% year-on-year in October, with growth rate up 0.6 percentage point, according to the National Development & Reform Commission’s website.
Of them, copper output grew 7.1% year-on-year in October, up 6.5 percentage points. Aluminum output increased 1.1% year-on-year, down 4.3 percentage points. Lead production was up 7.1% year-on-year, down 6.6 percentage points. Zinc output rose 4.5% year-on-year, up 3.9 percentage points.
Output of the 10 nonferrous metals totaled 4319 million tonnes in the first ten months of the year, an increase of 1.2% year-on-year, with the growth rate down 7.2 percentage points.
