SHANGHAI, Nov. 24 (SMM) – SHFE 1701 zinc surged to RMB 22,870/mt, rising by daily limit, and then fell back to RMB 22,600/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1701 zinc hovered around RMB 22,550/mt and closed at RMB 22,570/mt, up RMB 990/mt or 4.59%. Trading volumes increased 323,000 lots to 801,000 lots, and positions decreased 3,118 to 237,000. Trading volumes on SHFE zinc increased 476,000 lots to 1.08 million lots, and positions increased 11,864 to 465,000.
