Base Metals to Keep Strong Tone, SMM Says

Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to keep rising on Thursday, Shanghai Metals Market predicts. 

SHANGHAI, Nov. 24 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to keep rising on Thursday, Shanghai Metals Market predicts. 

“LME market overnight registered a big rise, and Shanghai market today will keep a strong tone,” SMM says.  

Key Macroeconomic Indicators for Base Metal Prices (2016-11-24)

Copper: 46,800-47,500 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 13,800-14,070 yuan per tonne
Lead: 19,450-19,650 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 21,700-22,600 yuan per tonne
Tin: 147,500-150,500 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 94,000-96,500 yuan per tonne    

Note: Prices all above are for most-actively traded contract on the SHFE.
