SHANGHAI, Nov. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1701 zinc opened at RMB 20,710/mt, and hovered around RMB 20,560/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1701 zinc climbed as shorts reduced positions and closed at RMB 20,890/mt, up RMB 95/mt or 0.46%. Trading volumes decreased 99,980 lots to 591,000 lots, and positions decreased 4,825 to 239,000. SHFE 1701 zinc is expected to hover at highs in the evening.
