SHFE 1701 zinc fell to RMB 21,175/mt immediately after opening, but then rallied to RMB 21,520/mt. in the afternoon, SHFE 1701 zinc dropped to RMB 21,030/mt and closed at RMB 21,255/mt, down RMB 215/m

SHANGHAI, Nov. 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1701 zinc fell to RMB 21,175/mt immediately after opening, but then rallied to RMB 21,520/mt. in the afternoon, SHFE 1701 zinc dropped to RMB 21,030/mt and closed at RMB 21,255/mt, down RMB 215/mt or 1%。. Trading volumes decreased 305,000 to 866,000 lots, and positions decreased 934 to 261,000.

SHFE zinc fell with other commodities. Onshore RMB fell below 6.87 against the US dollar, hitting an 8-year low, and down over 130, giving support to zinc.
