Zinc concentrate inventories at Chinese zinc smelters consumed will be around 400,000 tonnes this year, SMM said at the 2016 SMM Summit.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 15 (SMM) – Zinc concentrate inventories at Chinese zinc smelters consumed will be around 400,000 tonnes this year, SMM said at the 2016 SMM Summit.

Their raw material inventories fell from 10 weeks sufficient to production early this year to 4 weeks in October. But they also built stocks in preparation for production in the winter season.
