About 400,000-tpy zinc smelting capacity in China will be brought into production in 2017, SMM predicts at the 2016 SMM Summit.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 15 (SMM) - About 400,000-tpy zinc smelting capacity in China will be brought into production in 2017, SMM predicts at the 2016 SMM Summit.

365,000-tpy zinc smelting capacity was constructed in 2016. Taking into consideration the 60,000-tpy eliminated, newly increased capacity will be 325,000-tpy. These capacities will fully enter production next year.
