China Tire Export Price Plunges in First Three Quarters

China’s export prices for passenger vehicle tire fell 12.7% year-on-year in the first three quarters this year to $2,507.9 per tonne, cet.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 14 (SMM) - China’s export prices for passenger vehicle tire fell 12.7% year-on-year in the first three quarters this year to $2,507.9 per tonne, cet.com reported.

The average export price for truck tire was $2,031.0 per tonne, a drop of 13.5% year-on-year, with $2,574.3 per tonne for OTR down 9.4% year-on-year.

Domestic tire prices stabilized at lows, and will remain weak in the foreseeable future.
