The latest SMM survey finds about 80.95% domestic copper plate/sheet, strip and foil producers expect orders to remain steady in November.

SHANGHAI. Nov. 11 (SMM) - The latest SMM survey finds about 80.95% domestic copper plate/sheet, strip and foil producers expect orders to remain steady in November.

9.52% see output increase in November. 9.52% said copper consumption will fall in November due to low temperatures in North China and surge in copper prices.

Operating rates at copper plate/sheet, strip and foil producers will average 68.58% in November, flat at October’s, SMM predicts.
