Rising Continues in Base Metal Market, SMM Says

Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to continue rising on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

SHANGHAI, Nov. 11 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to continue rising on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

“Bullish sentiment remains in base metal market, so price gains are expected to be continuing, and price divergence is also expected to be big,” SMM says. 

Key Macroeconomic Indicators for Base Metal Prices (2016-11-11)

Copper: 44,400-45,200 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 13,950-14,250 yuan per tonne
Lead: 17,200-17,400 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 20,500-20,800 yuan per tonne
Tin: 150,000-155,000 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 91,500-95,000 yuan per tonne
