China Rare Earth Exports Grow in October, with Export Price Falling

China exported 3,432 tonnes of rare earth products in October, up 2.3 per cent on a yearly basis. 

SHANGHAI, Nov. 9 (SMM) – China exported 3,432 tonnes of rare earth products in October, up 2.3 per cent on a yearly basis. 

The exports in October, however, were down 6.6 per cent from September’s level. 

Export average price was $ 6.2/kg in October, off 23.5 per cent year-on-year, and off 20.5 per cent month-on-month. 

Exports were 38,435 tonnes from January to October, up 43.7 per cent year-on-year, with export average price of $ 7.3/kg, down 35.5 per cent year-on-year.
