Base Metals to See Price Corrections, SMM Says

Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to diverge again on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

SHANGHAI, Nov. 4 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to diverge again on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

“Rising momentum was strong in overnight trading, but price corrections are expected to emerge in some base metal market,” SMM says.  

Copper: 39,000-39,400 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 13,400-13,600 yuan per tonne
Lead: 16,450-16,650 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 19,750-20,050 yuan per tonne
Tin: 139,000-140,500 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 82,600-84,400 yuan per tonne

Note: Prices all above are for most-actively traded contract on the SHFE.
