SHFE 1612 zinc opened at RMB 19,200/mt today, and rose to RMB 19,365/mt with LME zinc but then fell to RMB 19,155-19,260/mt.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 31 (SMM) – SHFE 1612 zinc opened at RMB 19,200/mt today, and rose to RMB 19,365/mt with LME zinc but then fell to RMB 19,155-19,260/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1612 zinc hit the highest since April 15, 2011 and closed at RMB 19,330/mt, up RMB 320/mt or 1.68%. Trading volumes increased 16,690 to 24,860 lots, and positions decreased 3,920 to 187,000.
