SHANGHAI, Oct. 25 (SMM) - China Customs said copper ore and concentrates imports were 1. 39 million tonnes in September, up 14.15% year-on-year, according to wenhua.com.
Imports from Chile were 372,764 tonnes in September, topping China’s copper ore supplying countries. Imports from Peru were 337,680 tonnes.
Imports during the first nine months of the year were 12.24 million tonnes, up 31.9% year-on-year.
