SHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (SMM) - Anhui expects to construct China’s largest copper new material base in Tongling City, local paper reported.

The industry base will put emphasis on processing of copper wire rod, copper pate/sheet and foil, copper bar, copper tube/pipe and copper powder.

Tongling Jingda Special Magnet Wire Co. is the largest electromagnetic wire producer in China. Copper new material accounts for over 80% of the city’s strategic emerging industry.
