DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (SMM) – China’s bauxite imports jumped from July in August, contributed mainly by Guinea and Malaysia.
Customs data showed China imported 4.46 million tonnes of bauxite in August, down 1.83% year-on-year, but up 22.7% month-on-month.
Imports from Guinea rose about 130,000 tonnes due to growing shipments by Shandong Weiqiao Group from its project in Guinea. Imports from Malaysia surged about 350,000 tonnes.
