BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Aluminum scrap prices increased marginally on the Scrap Monster Price Index on October 14th, Friday.

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each. E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 13,450 per MT. Old Cast prices increased by CNY 100 per MT. The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 100 per MT each. UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices too were up by CNY 100 per MT each.

Meanwhile, Brass Radiator prices witnessed marginal decline of CNY 50 per MT when matched with the day before. Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT each.

Stainless steel scrap prices were mostly unchanged on the Index.

201 SS prices held steady at CNY 3,850 per MT.

The prices of 304 SS Solid, 304 SS Turning and 309 SS remained flat.

310 SS prices were down by CNY 50 per MT at CNY 16,100 per MT on October 14th, 2016.

316 SS Solid and Shred SS prices witnessed no change in prices.
