Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to drift lower on a largely scale on Tuesday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 18 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to drift lower on a largely scale on Tuesday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

“A weak tone remains unchanged in base metal market, despite US dollar’s fallback from highs,” SMM says. 

Key Macroeconomic Indicators for Base Metal Prices (2016-10-18)

Copper: 37,100-37,350 yuan per tonne

Aluminum: 12,550-12,750 yuan per tonne

Lead: 15,400-15,600 yuan per tonne

Zinc: 17,900-18,100 yuan per tonne

Tin: 126,500-128,500 yuan per tonne

Nickel: 80,500-82,000 yuan per tonne
