LME Zinc Unlikely See Choppy Trading Next Week, SMM Says

LME zinc is expected to consolidate between $2,280-2,380 per tonne in the coming week, SMM says.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 30 (SMM) - LME zinc is expected to consolidate between $2,280-2,380 per tonne in the coming week, SMM says.

Technical front points to some pressure for LME zinc after a four-day winning streak, SMM zinc analyst said.

The SHFE market will be closed next week due to China’s National Day holiday during October 1-7.

The shift was made to SHFE December zinc, and December zinc on the SHFE will move between 17,600-18,400 yuan per tonne after China’s National Day holiday, with spot premiums of 40-90 yuan per tonne over SHFE November zinc.
