Nickel Ore Inventories Fall in China, SMM Reports

Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports dropped in the week ending Sep. 23, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 23 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports dropped in the week ending Sep. 23, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

According to SMM data, nickel ore inventories at those ports were down 130,000 tonnes from the week ending Sep. 16, but up 570,000 tonnes from the week ending Sep. 9.

In the coming week, new arrivals of shipments at the Port of Lianyungang are expected to keep growing, SMM says.
