SHANGHAI, Sep. 19 (SMM) - Zijin Mining Group and Peru agreed to the acceleration of development of the Whiteriver copper-molybdenum mine in the country September 16, the company said on its website.

Whiteriver copper-molybdenum mine, a world-class ultra-large porphyry copper-molybdenum mine, will produce 200,000 tonnes of copper each year after construction is completed.

The mine has high grade ore and vast reserves. Peruvian government will include the Whiteriver copper-molybdenum project in the list of national large projects with priority development.
