SHANGHAI, Sep. 18 (SMM) - Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet Company Limited’s semiannual report shows its lead and zinc output at its domestic mines totaled 95,300 tonnes in the first half of this year, while that at its overseas mines was 67,800 tonnes, hexun.com reported.
Anhui Tongguan Copper Foil Output Hit Record High in August
The firm’s lead and zinc smelting products in this period was 125,600 tonnes, with sulfuric acid output of 105,400 tonnes.
Output of other products includes 9,205 tonnes of aluminum extrusion and 4,566 tonnes of battery zinc powder.
Nonfemet, a Chinese company engaging in the mining and processing of lead, zinc and other non-ferrous metals, saw gross margin up 8.4 percentage points to 15.6% in H1 2016, due mainly to rising zinc and silver prices.
