Hailiang Group to Put Online Two 25,000 tpy High-Quality Copper Pipe Projects Soon

SHANGHAI, Aug. 13 (SMM) - Hailiang Group is expected to put two copper pipe projects into production in the near term, according to chinastock.com.

The two projects include the 25,000 tonne per year refrigeration air-conditioner copper pipe project at the parent company, located in Zhejiang. The other is 25,000 tonne per year efficient energy saving precise copper pipe production line, which is run by Hailiang’s subsidiary in Guangdong Province.

The projects will help ease the company’s supply tightness and improve its product portfolio, increasing its profitability.

Hailiang sold 203,600 tonnes of copper semis in the first half of this year, up 64.86% year-on-year. Its sales revenue from major business rose 45.24% year-on-year. Gross margin increased 1.3 percentage points thanks to steady processing fees, despite lower raw material prices. The company’s pricing is based on raw material prices plus processing fees.
