China Nickel Ore Inventories Grow More, SMM Reports

Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports continued increasing in the week ending Sep. 9, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 9 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports continued increasing in the week ending Sep. 9, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

Large arrivals of new shipments at the Port of Lanshan and Lianyungang explained the further increases in port inventories, SMM survey finds.  

Nickel ore inventories at those ports were up 360,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, according to SMM data.
