SHANGHAI, Sep. 9 (SMM) - China Customs said imports of copper ore and concentrate were 10.86 million tonnes during the first eight months of this year, a rise of 34.6% year-on-year, wenhua.com reports.
Russian Copper Exports Slid Jan.-Jul., Aluminum, Nickel Exports up
Imports of copper ore and concentrate were 1.45 million tonnes in August, up 5.1% from July, and 26.1% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, copper imports in August fell 2.8% month-on-month, but remained flat on a year-on-year basis.
