SHANGHAI, Sep. 7 (SMM) - Iron ore prices in China’s domestic market are expected to hover at highs this week, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

Last week, iron concentrate prices in China’s domestic market varied from region to region, with modest transactions, according to SMM survey. 

Supply of domestic ore is going to increase as rising prices have promoted some mines to resume production, SMM says. 

On the other hand, demand in September is estimated to improve from August, with winter stock-piling expected.

Hence, SMM foresees China’s iron ore prices to hover at highs this week, with mixed movements expected.
