Official and Caixin’s August manufacturing PMI for China are expected to weaken.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 1 (SMM) – Official and Caixin’s August manufacturing PMI for China are expected to weaken. LME zinc will consolidate at USD 2,300-2,340/mt, and SHFE 1611 zinc should fluctuate between RMB 17,950-18,150/mt today, and spot #0 zinc prices will trade RMB 50-80/mt above SHFE 1610 zinc.

SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,360/mt on Thursday evening and closed at RMB 14,395/mt, up RMB 100/mt.
