SHFE 1610 zinc opened at RMB 17,895/mt overnight, and closed at RMB 17,985/mt, up RMB 120/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 31 (SMM) – SHFE 1610 zinc opened at RMB 17,895/mt overnight, and closed at RMB 17,985/mt, up RMB 120/mt. Trading volumes on SHFE 1611 zinc grew over 10,000 lots, and those on SHFE zinc returned to 650,000.

SHFE 1611 zinc opened at RMB 17,985/mt today, and reached RMB 18,130/mt. At the end of trading, SHFE 1611 zinc closed at RMB 17,955/mt, up RMB 90/mt. Trading volumes on SHFE 1611 zinc increased 123,000 to 279,000 lots, and positions added 35,000 to 291,000. Positions on SHFE zinc jumped 24,000 to 667,000 lots, and trading volumes reached 728,000.
