SHANGHAI, Aug. 30 (SMM) - China’s Tongling Nonferrous Metals Co.’s refined copper output slid in the first half of this year, while copper concentrate production rose, SMM understands.
It produced 632,200 tonnes of refined copper in H1 2016, down 4.67% year-on-year. Copper concentrate output was 23,698 tonnes, a rise of 0.53% year-on-year.
Its copper semis production rose 6.99% year-on-year to 149,295 tonnes.
Besides, sulfuric acid output increased 5.59% year-on-year to 2.14 million tonnes, while gold output was 4,418 kg, down 34.07% year-on-year.
The company’s profit of listed shareholders slid 82.48% year-on-year to 46.23 million yuan in the first half of the year, SMM added.
